Ich bin Lehrer, Filmer, Tontechniker, Komponist, Flötist und Sänger. Ich spiele in den Gruppen An Tor, und Carter3 . Als Gastmusiker (bzw. Studiomusiker) spielte ich u.a. bei Shaskeen, Goo Birds Flight, Reamonn, Uta Besan, Ireen Sheer, New Spirit Gospel Chor, Tim Neuhaus, Tom Bombadil Folkband und Siolta.
Ich gründete die Rüsselsheimer „Musikschule in Bewegung“ und bin Mitbegründer des Labels für akustische Musik Leiselaut. Seit 1996 betreibe ich in Wiesbaden das nakedstreet-Tonstudio für akustische Musikaufnahmen und Medienvertonung.
Als Tontechniker habe ich bereits für studio-walldorf, comsat-media, Pro7, RTL, PDM, ZDF, wittekind-events und zahlreiche live-Bands gearbeitet.
1996 wurde ich vom Deutschen Rockmusikerverband als bester Soloinstrumentalist ausgezeichnet.
Spezialisiert bin ich, neben Gesang, auf traditionelle Musik Westeuropas und div. Flöten. Darunter z.B. die bayerische Schwegelflöte, Irische Querflöte (Irish Flute), Irische Blechflöte (Tin-Whistle), Bambusflöten und Renaissance-Querflöten.
Nils Nolte is a German flutist specialized on the traditional music of Western Europe, as which he has already played for bands like Shaskeen (Ceili Band), Tom Bombadil Folkband and Reamonn, but also for artists like Uta Bresan or Ireen Sheer.
His abilities in wind instrumental play range from Irish flute and tin whistle over classical instruments like the transverse flute up to rather exotic flutes such as the Bavarian Schwegelflöte.
As a sound engineer he founded the nakedstreet-Tonstudio for musical recordings and scoring and has yet took part in several productions of German media.
Next to his musical and technichal abilities, for which he 1996 received the award of best solo instrumentalist by the Deutscher Rockmusikerverband, he is always complimented for his entertaining qualities especially when performing as a member of local bands like An Tor, Ginger and Earthloop.
